Bye Bye Birdie...

BBB has taken control of my thoughts, my friends, and ever fiber of my being. Today is the last day (Thank God) of tech. week, and I don't know how I am still sane. Third block consists of playing through the hard songs until my mouth hurts, and then I get to (by the grace of God) come home for an hour or so to eat. Back up to school at 4, practice until 7 or 11 or whenever the directors feel we are finished. Wake up, do again. I can't even think in full sentences anymore.

It's a good thing that Ben (who plays Conrad) is nice otherwise, I'd take my wrath out on him. I can barely get out the scream, or make the swooning faces I used to make at him anymore. I call Chris Albert, call Mayet Rose and call Shay Kim on a regular basis because I get way too confused trying to distinguish between real life and play life.

All in all, I have to say that practice is going well. Most of the kinks in the show are fixed, and the rest of the little glitches will be taken care of tonight. Come see us perform this weekend, laugh, cry, and have a good time. Make this experience worthwhile for us. :D

I would really like to say that life will be a lot easier and carefree after BBB, but truthfully it won't. I wrote out my schedule for next month, and surprisingly, I only have three free days before graduation. Good thing that there are only 13 school days left! I can't wait to be out of high school.

Strength

This picture pretty much sums up what I feel like doing to annoying people at times. I guess super strength/ violent tendencies do run in the family (that's my cousin Elise and her bro Lawrence).

Learning.

I've learned/ relearned a few things over the last few weeks...
- Hope comes in many forms, including white cars.
- Some things are hilarious, no matter what language they're said in.
- Boys are disgusting, foreign or American.
- Babysitting girls is a load of fun, from climbing trees to painting nails, they do it all.
- If I want to go to Germany to see Chris and the Germans, I need 750 bucks.
- Three weeks is not enough time.

Life has been hectic lately, and I don't see any sign of it slowing down before graduation. Exchange students left this morning, and now I have an hour before NHS. This week I have to intern twice as much to make up for next week, which is Tech Week for BBB. The show starts the 1st. and goes through the 3rd. Then I have AP tests, then prom, then finals, then a concert, then graduation. So I'm going full speed ahead until then. ugh. I can't wait to just be done.

But in reality, I want this next month to drag on forever. Next school year, all of my friends are going to different schools, the closest friend will be 20 miles away, and the furthest one will be in Germany. Hence the 750 I need to raise in order to go skiing with him in December. I hope everything goes well.
