I don't really have much to say...

Well, the "intense babysitting", as my friends call it, is over and life is good. Chris is finally back from Deutschland, Mausam is home for the week, and Kavs is home from India. Just in time for me to go on vacation. Isn't life funny?

Babysitting the twins was a lot of fun. We went on a few day trips (zoo, movies, McDs), watched some movies at home, and played a lot. Hanging out with two 5, almost 6, year olds tires one out, but it's definitely rewarding. After I got done with the twins, I took Cart to t-ball. Watching little kids play sports is always entertaining and really cute. They all run after the ball no matter where they are on the field and they think playing with clay is more fun than watching for the next hitter. I guess it isn't important how well they play as long as they enjoy it.

Thursday night, Chris came home. Monica and I went to the airport with his family to greet him. Seeing him in person was awesome and it's great to finally have all of my best friends back in the States.

Friday, an afternoon storm caused my power to go out from 3-8pm. Luckily, Clare saved me for a little while by taking me to Target and Marshalls.

The next day was the Grover's anniversary party. I got to see Megan for the first time in forever and a day! She's here for a month!!! I also got to see the Pauls and Emilie which is always a fun time. Then Mausam and I went to S.C. Ice Cream to see Chris, Clare, Jessyca, Sherri, and Nathan. After that, the two of us went to R. Kelly's house to say hi.

Today I mostly just lounged around until we went to Durango's for father's day. Steak and potatoes are delicious.

Like I said, I don't really have much to say. But I do have one more semi-interesting thing.

On Facebook, I did a little spring cleaning. Meaning I deleted people I either don't talk to, have no interest in talking to, don't really know, or don't really like. A couple days after I cleaned I went outside to go somewhere and noticed a few broken eggs in my grass and on my driveway. Since I don't have any known enemies, and my friends tp and put up pictures (not attempt to egg things) I have a funny feeling it was someone I deleted. Too bad the poor person 1)has bad aim and 2) has so little of a life they had to resort to egging things to repay me.

Now I am in no way encouraging the person to try again, because if they do I will call the cops. I'm just saying, get a life. It's not a big deal. You have real friends. Concentrate on them please.

Whoops...

Sometimes life gets the best of me and I forget how to write. Life has been doing just that for the past month. I've been feeling completely uninspired and didn't really feel like writing a blog about nothing. But I guess it's been too long since I've written anything at all, so I should get to it. Inspired or not.

Let's see... I'll save the best news for last.... So first things first - how have I been spending my summer? Well, for some odd reason every single one of my best friends decided that they needed to not be in town for the summer. I got to see Mausam, Dargan, Alison, and Kelly for like a week when they were here but now they're all off doing other things and I'm still at home. I've been killing time by babysitting like there's no tomorrow. But I'm not complaining because I absolutely love my "cousins" or however they decided that they're related to me. I've also already purchased a MacBook Pro, which is what I'm using to type this right now. Now I think I'm going to save up my money for an iPhone 4 whenever AT&T decides I'm eligible to buy one.

Other than that I've just been hanging out at home doing nothing really. I went to THS graduation and FUMC graduation in May. It was so weird sitting in the bleachers watching THS kids graduate. I've never seen it from that point of view before. And I can't believe that my "cousins" are old enough to graduate preschool. It really does seem like just last year their mommies were watching me graduate pre-k.

Exciting news - It's the 9th of June, which means Germany gives me back my best friend in 8 days!!! Once he's back, I won't be alone in Tville anymore.

Next weeks plans - Sunday-Wednesday I get to play mommy for the twins. SG is super excited about having a slumber party with me. She keeps coming up with these crazy plans, some of which will not fly. Among them are, going to the beach to get seashells, swimming, going to the park, going to the zoo, and staying up til midnight every night. I think we all know which one of those is NOT happening.

And now I guess it's time for the best news of all - Nick is officially in remission!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooo grateful for God answering all of our prayers! Let's just all pray that he stays that way now.
