Wow

It's been a while since I've been able to find the time to sit here and write something about my life, so I'll try to catch up as much as I can in between uploading my Death Cab and Bye Bye Birdie (which I'm being forced to play clarinet for). I must say, I absolutely LOVE this semester. It was a little rocky to begin with, but if those few bumps in the road led me to this, than they were well worth it. It seems like every weekend is booked with things I love to do, going on Target adventures, youth group, Sunday Afternoon Ultimate, babysitting the boys... And every school day is filled with awesomeness too, Aftercare, talking in 2nd block, listening to M and the President argue in 1st.

Speaking of Aftercare, the kids have only gotten cuter. My little incident with A.M.'s temper tantrum has only caused him to be soo much nicer to everyone. He has started to listen a little better, and when he does have outbursts, he keeps his fists to himself. Things are still the same with the other kids... R.R. still starts every afternoon by telling me, "Ms Mary (aka my mom) says no, no, no, but my mommy says I can play with you." C.P. comes up and asks me where I got my jewelry ("Ms Mary got it for me") and my hair ("God") and then asks if she can use my cell phone because she has GOT to go. E.P. started to open up and lost most of his little attitude. And J.G.... Oh that boy kills me sometimes. The other day he ran up to the other students and said "Guys, Ms Emily is making fun of my butt because I tooted." The other teachers and I burst out into uncontrollable laughter. I love going over there every Tues and Thurs!

That's basically what's been going on the last few weeks. So now here are my plans for this weekend.

-Last night was band festival.. I think it went well.
-This afternoon, family birthday dinner at Buca di Beppo's. We got the kitchen table!
- After Buca, mall with Mom. Then the girlies are coming over to spend the night.
- Tomorrow, MY BIRTHDAY!... Disney with the girlies.

I'm really excited!
