It seems like I can only manage to find time to write on the weekends, which is odd considering my easy course load. But it's late on a Friday night, so I guess it's about time for an update. This week went by relatively fast. The only complaint I had was yesterday's performance at FOA MPA (Orchestra Assessment). I thought we did fine, I squeaked really loud, but it was a good performance. Apparently the judges didn't agree. They hated everything and gave us an overall Excellent. (a.k.a. no state festival for us). I am at a loss and have no clue what we will do for the rest of the semester. Half and half jazz band? After our performance, I was off-the-wall-hyper. Spinning, jumping, singing, and dancing. And as my friends say "Emily on sugar = exciting."

Today was a great day too. I actually contributed to our discussion in Lit, Psych was fun as usual, Orchestra sucked, but then I went over to do my last three hours at Pre-school. The kids were in an unusually good mood. We played together, ate donuts for snack, and then ran around the playground. The little trouble-maker of the group was kind, and loving and wanted to hold my hand on the way outside. Too cute. Afterwards, I went to Durango's with Mom, Angie, and Baby Taby. We ran into a ton of people and ended up staying FOREVER. Then Mom and I came home and watched Swing Vote. Which was actually a good movie, with an extremely crappy ending.

Quick rest of the weekend plans....
  • Band Pancake Breakfast Saturday A.M.
  • Lunch with Nana and Gidow to celebrate Gidow's birthday Saturday P.M. (in St. Augustine)
  • Maybe C.C.C. Sunday A.M.
  • Frisbee/ Football Sunday P.M.
  • Youth Group Sunday P.M.
