Well, this weekend was definitely a good time. Friday night I went to Sonny's with Dad and Landon. I think my dad has ESP, because he said that he could tell I wanted Sonny's from the look on my face. It was amazing, as usual. When I got home, I had something like umpteen conversations on Facebook Chat and went to bed.
Saturday was the Greek Festival. Oddly enough, I didn't have my usual encounter with the old women. I think that was due to my fascination with the Senior division of the Grecian Odyssey dancers. There were about ten kids my age on the team, and they were soo amazing. The boys danced on tables while the girls danced on the floor. I kinda wish I had gone to Greek school or something so I could learn how to do that. After the littler kids did their dances, we left. I got home just in time to go to Iron Chef. That was hilarious too. The secret ingredient was raspberries. I didn't get to stay long enough to taste the final products, but the judges told me that this was the best Iron Chef yet. Everything was apparently delicious.
Sunday was phenomenal. So I guess you can say that I thoroughly enjoyed this weekend. I watched a billion episodes of One Tree Hill on Soap Net in the morning. I must admit that I am in love with Nathan Scott, and Jake Jagielski. After OTH ended, I ran over to Pointsetta Drive and got my hour sheet from Ro, and delivered Baby Taby's stroller back to him. Then it was time for...
THE CLASH!!!!!!!! All of my predicitions were true. The band kids lost terribly to the Windover team. (10-6). But I enjoyed myself. Mayet and I had a little picnic while we watched our boys play.. (by this time, I had switched over to the dark side, and was rooting for the Windovers) Sometimes, having a messy car pays off. We took a ton of pictures, and laughed everytime someone injured themselves. I don't think a single boy left that field unharmed, but that's what happens when you combine high-schoolers with two 20-or-30-something year old men. The Clash only lasted about an hour, and by then us band kids were fed up with the tiny size of the Windover field so we all commuted to IRC. I realized that I need to learn my roads better, if it wouldn't have been for Chris C. directing me, I would have been lost somewhere between Port St. John and Titusville. IRC was fun too. There were some friendly games of football, frisbee, and soccer going on at the same time. More injuries occured, but nothing too serious. The fun died down at like 6 and we all went home. Then I got that Sunday evening feeling Peyton Sawyer loves to talk about on OTH....
This week I have to deal with stupid Orchestra festival, and preparing for band festival. I hope that this coming weekend pans out how I want it to, so I'll have something to look forward too.
