I've been playing around with the idea of starting a blog after reading Anna's (yes Anna, I read your blog like a pre-teen girl reads about HSM), but hesitated because I didn't know if anyone would want to read about my life. I finally decided to give in and start one, and vowed not to care who read it, or what they thought. So here I am, with nothing much to say.
Well today, or I guess yesterday, my friends and I had our ninth Iron Chef Competition. For those of you who don't know what that means, we divide ourselves into three groups, two cooking teams, and one judging team. The cooks run to Publix and get whatever ingredients they need and return to home to cook. After they are finished the judges pick a winner. The whole thing has become a rather enormous gathering, and quite successful with all the newcomers. The outcome this time was decent. Since I am a huge baby, I couldn't eat half the food without worrying about burning my tongue, so I left most of my judging to Zach. In the end Chris' Asian-inspired feast won. Egg-noodle salad, Peanut Chicken over Rice, and Peanut-Butter/Fluff Balls. Yumm-o
Earlier in the day I went to the birthday party of the 4 year-old I babysit. There is something amazing about going to the park with a bunch of pre-schoolers. I had a lot of fun chasing them around. It was HILARIOUS to watch a group of children ranging in age from 2-5 try to play pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, and wack a pinata. I haven't laughed that much in ages.
Well, it's getting late. I better get to bed. I hope you enjoyed this.
You should get a livejournal. Then you can be my friend.
