Just a quick little update and then I'm off to Alison's house. This weekend has been absolutely amazing. Friday night, an hour after school I went to Dargan's house. We talked for a while, which we really needed to do. Then we headed over to THS around six to watch Kelly walk across the field for soccer Senior Night. It was soooo cold, but thoroughly enjoyable. After she finished we stopped into the basketball game (don't you just love FCAT passes?) and watched the first half. After coming to the realization that Astronaut couldn't come from behind, we left and went over to Dargan's again. We sat on the room and star-gazed. Mausam and I tried with all our might to see a shooting star, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.
Next comes Saturday. Kelly, Dargan, Alison, Mausam, and I decided to go prom dress looking-at/shopping. (I was the only one who bought a dress, and I must say, I am in LOVE.) Alison and I nearly got lost on the way home, but thanks to a quick phone call to Angie, a major shopaholic before having three boys, we found our way to 528. Trying on dresses always puts me in an amazing mood, so I was more than happy to babysit the boys mentioned above.
Then there was today. I woke up, did a little laundry, and went to 1130 mass. I think I like this priest the best out of all the ones St Teresa's has gone through. He gave an awesome message on the meaning of Christianity and the love we should have for Jesus. I could hardly believe it. I usually have a book of objections I hand out.. very quietly to Landon.. during Catholic sermons, but this week I was silent. Braco Father Chris!!! After church I finished Native Son, spoiler... I was glad to see Bigger fry... Then I went to youth group. Good times...
Well now I'm off to Alison's. Tomorrow looks very promising. :D
